Cowichan Buffalo Knit Jacket - Navy/Grey

When a cardigan is made in the right way, it can be outerwear as well. In fact, early cardigans were worn primarily as  military and workwear, for workers that needed to stay warm while still retaining a full range of movement, especially for naval and maritime professions. And heavy wool, which is naturally water-resistant, makes the perfect outerwear material.

Our Cowichan Cardigan is designed in this heavy traditional style, with a Cowichan knit. Made from Italian 100% soft lambswool in a weighty plain knit with reverse stitch detail at the raglan seams and down the placket to either side. The cardigan has deep kangaroo pockets, and a zip placket to make it perfect to wear as a coat in all weather.

Sanjay is 6'2" with a 40" chest and a 32" waist and wears a size Large tops, Medium bottoms.
